Okay. I have absolutely have no clue how you people do it! I haven't been able to post anything in forever! I haven't even had time to draw anything. How do you guys that go to school and have a job still get artwork done? I would love it if you guys could help me out here. Yeah i have time to sketch something from time to time but nothing that is really that much more than cool doodles.
On a happier note,
I hopped on my 5 yr old Appaloosa a few days ago without a halter or anything on her. I had been on her a couple of times last year, but i hadn't really riden her till this spring/summer. I have been trying to get her to respond to leg and voice commands more than rein. She would be considered a well "green broke" horse. Anyway, I jumped on Sierra and asked her to walk forward and she did. I asked her to stop, but she didn't! I was like, 'Are you serious?!' I knew she knew what i wanted her to do because i had been working with her big time on stopping. I asked again and she tossed her head at me. I leaned forward and reached around the front of her neck and laid my hand across the front of her neck and put pressure there when i asked her to stop again. She did (thank heavens). She was like, "Holy crow! You can do that?! But but but, there ins't anything on my head!" It was pretty funny when she turned around and looked at me like that. after that it was really cool because she would turn, stop, trot, go slower or faster, and all with out anything on her cept me! I was sooooooo excited! After i hopped off i said thank you to her and petted her extra long and gave her a treat. I love Sierra.
